Best Body Moisturizer – What Is The Best Body Moisturizer For Dry Skin
At one time, many women believed that the best body moisturizer was baby oil. Today, most of the lotions on the market contain the same ingredient. Here, we look at this question. How do moisturizers effect the skin? Understanding that will allow us to choose effective moisturizers that actually improve our skin’s health.
The primary component in baby oil is mineral oil. Mineral oil is the same thing as liquid petrolatum. You will see both of those ingredients listed on lotions, particularly those in department and discount stores.

Here’s another question. How do moisturizers effect the skin when they contain protein? That depends on the type of protein present in the product and the size of its molecules. It could be good or bad.
The best body moisturizer on the market today contains protein fragments called peptides and the bioactive form of the protein keratin. If you see the proteins collagen or elastin listed on the label, it’s not worth your money, regardless of how little it costs.
